Job Summary
Technical Production Assistant on the 2nd shift responsible for diagnosing and performing minor electrical and mechanical repairs on production equipment, coordinating with Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering Services to resolve equipment issues, training production personnel on tool and equipment use, and supervising third-party technicians as needed. The role involves collaboration across Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering Services, and VEGA Germany to ensure efficient production and may include international travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school Graduate or GED
- 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training
- Industrial Maintenance Technician apprenticeship or equivalent from a recognized community college or trade school is preferred but not required
