Technical Product Support (TPS) Engineer - SPG Organization

Job Summary
Provide advanced technical support for engineering systems used in application and reliability labs; lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex equipment and process issues; act as the key interface between customers, field teams, and engineering to ensure timely issue escalation and resolution; support field engineers, technicians, and product support teams in diagnosing, repairing, and debugging equipment; support new product introduction (NPI) and beta site activities, including installation, calibration, testing, and early-stage issue resolution; analyze system performance metrics (e.g., uptime, MTBF, availability) to identify trends and drive product and process improvements; collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams on technical solutions and system enhancements; develop and maintain technical documentation (e.g., CENs, BKMs) and share best practices across teams; present technical findings and recommendations to engineering stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Several years of experience in equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, or problem diagnosis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Experience with Applied Materials tools is a strong plus
