Job Summary
Technical Product Specialist – Media Transport responsible for interfacing with customers to tailor solutions, defining product architecture, coordinating cross-functional validation, benchmarking technically and commercially, promoting solutions at industry events, and assisting with testing, launch, and documentation. Requires hands-on familiarity with IP video transport technologies (ST2110/ST2022/RISt/SRT), video codecs (H.264/HEVC/JPEG-XS/ JPEG-2000), Linux/networking, and broadcast experience. Travel to US and international client sites is allowed. The role sits within the Product Management team in R&D and focuses on delivering robust broadcast/media transport solutions for professional A/V and live sports/news applications.
Required Qualifications
- Education in Electronics/Electrical/Computers/Broadcasting or related technology field
- Eligibility for travel to US and International client sites
- Deeply familiar with industry standard transport technologies (ST2110, ST2022, RIST, SRT)
- Understanding of core compression technologies (H264, HEVC, JPEG-XS, JPEG-2000)
- Working knowledge of Linux environments, networking and IP protocols
- Prior broadcast video experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform agile iterative development of industry-leading products and technology
- Able to learn quickly, work independently and have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
