Job Summary
Ensure all tooling released to production meets customer requirements by performing routine inspections and assisting with performance checks. Work with engineers to determine tooling needs, troubleshoot product application issues, and support new product applications. Improve existing processes by reviewing objectives, recommending modifications to tooling and machining applications, and facilitating corrective action programs. Manage the reconditioning program and introduce manufacturer products to customers through facilitated visits. Perform duties with minimal supervision while interpreting complex prints and models, requiring strong technical knowledge of cutting tools and the aerospace market.
Required Qualifications
- Greater than 5 years' experience in a manufacturing industry that uses cutting tools and abrasives
- At least 5 years of machining experience
- Must have strong technical knowledge of cutting tools, PPE, abrasives, and cutting tool applications
- Process improvement experience
- Knowledge of cutting tool geometry
- Knowledge of cutting tool manufacturers
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Data analysis
- Ability to lead projects; results oriented
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
- 50% Sitting

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the aerospace market a plus
