Job Summary

Ensure all tooling released to production meets customer requirements through routine inspection and performance checks. Assist engineers in determining tooling needs, troubleshoot product application issues, and support the reconditioning program. Improve existing processes by reviewing objectives, recommending modifications to machining applications, and facilitating manufacturer visits to introduce new products. Facilitate corrective action programs and perform other duties as assigned by management. Requires 50% sitting, 40% standing, and 10% walking with lifting up to 40 lbs. This role supports US Tool Group's mission to provide cost savings for aerospace and defense contractors through integrated supply chain and cutting tool solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Greater than 5 years' experience in a manufacturing industry that uses cutting tools and abrasives
  • At least 5 years of machining experience
  • Must have strong technical knowledge of cutting tools, PPE, abrasives, and cutting tool applications
  • Process improvement experience
  • Knowledge of cutting tool geometry
  • Knowledge of cutting tool manufacturers
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Data analysis
  • Ability to lead projects; results oriented
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the aerospace market a plus
  • Experience with multi-axis machine tool programing a plus
