Technical Product Owner - Payments

Job Summary
Support the product backlog, roadmap, and delivery activities for payment processing and platform modernization initiatives. Translate business objectives into clear functional and technical requirements across concurrent priorities, including Correspondent Payment routing, Domestic and Cross-Border payments, SWIFT MT/MX messaging, and ISO 20022 standards. Analyze and document payment capabilities while integrating sanctions screening, AML controls, and regulatory requirements into workflows. Participate in requirements elicitation, solution design, and cross-functional alignment to identify risks and collaborate on mitigation strategies. Contribute to AI-assisted delivery practices across the SDLC to support automation and continuous improvement. Manage multiple priorities within Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery models while building working relationships across business units and platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years in Financial Services, Payments, or Banking Technology
- at least 2 years in Technical Product Ownership, Business Systems Analysis, or an equivalent role
- Hands-on experience with Correspondent Payment routing
- understanding of payment message flows, routing logic, and settlement processes
- Exposure to High-Value Payments, SWIFT MT/MX messaging, or ISO 20022 standards
- Familiarity with sanctions screening, AML controls, or regulatory compliance considerations in a payments context
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery models

- Strong written and oral communication skills
