Job Summary
Technical Product Owner for HR IT systems in Madrid, focusing on end-to-end ownership of HR IT applications, integration points (APIs, file-based interfaces, SCIM), IAM concepts (provisioning, SSO, roles), and collaboration with IT, HR, and vendors. Responsible for translating business requirements into technically sound specifications for IAM, integrations, and applications; overseeing lifecycle activities (onboarding, upgrades, decommissioning); ensuring security, governance, and audit compliance; providing Level 2/3 support; and driving continuous improvement with vendors and IT teams. Requires 5+ years in a technical application/IT management role, SaaS/integration experience, IAM familiarity, ITIL awareness, strong communication, and English proficiency (German a plus); hybrid work arrangement in Madrid with remote flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Application Manager or similar role in an enterprise IT environment
- Strong technical affinity with hands-on experience in SaaS applications, integrations, and cloud-based systems
- Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts (user lifecycle, provisioning, SSO, roles, authentication)
- Experience with interfaces, APIs, file-based integrations, and basic data formats (CSV, XML, JSON)
- Ability to analyze technical issues independently and collaborate effectively with IAM, integration, and infrastructure teams
- Familiarity with IT service management and governance frameworks (ITIL)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in IT HR landscapes is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
