Technical Product Owner (AI/ML Platform)

Job Summary
Own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of the AI/ML Platform; define and communicate a clear product roadmap focused on data pipelines, feature stores, model serving infrastructure, and monitoring frameworks; create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, translating complex data/science requirements into epics, user stories, and API contracts; serve as the primary technical interface for Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Application Developers; collaborate with Tech Leads and Architects to ensure scalable, robust platform design; make decisive priority calls to balance enabling new data science capabilities, reducing technical debt, and delivering strategic initiatives; own the release of new platform features, APIs, and tools, and drive adoption through documentation, demos, and user support; work in a hybrid remote model from London to support Credit Risk AI/ML initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as Technical Product Owner, Platform Product Manager, or senior engineering/architecture role with strong product instincts
- Deep technical understanding of the end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle and the associated engineering challenges (e.g., MLOps, CI/CD for models, data engineering)
- Experience working directly with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong background in software engineering, with the ability to discuss APIs, microservices architecture, data schemas, and infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical trade-offs and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in Agile development environments and delivering technical products
