Technical Product Manager

On-sitePune, Maharashtra, India

Full TimeSmall

Job Summary

Translate high-level product strategy into implementation-ready technical specifications, including API contracts, data schemas, and state machine diagrams. Prototype proof-of-concept solutions using SQL or Python notebooks to validate feasibility before committing engineering resources. Collaborate daily with engineering leads during sprint planning, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure fidelity between spec and implementation. Own the developer experience roadmap for SDKs, CLI tools, and the Rubiscape developer portal to accelerate ISV and OEM integrations. Manage technical dependencies across studio teams, identifying integration risks early and escalating blockers with proposed mitigations. Maintain technical components of the product wiki, including architecture decision records and API changelogs. Lead technical scoping calls with enterprise customers to translate bespoke requirements into platform-native solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in technical product management, software engineering, or solutions architecture within enterprise SaaS or data platform companies
  • Proficiency reading and writing API specifications (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC)
  • A working knowledge of at least one backend language (Python, Java, Go, or Scala)
  • Solid understanding of distributed data systems: streaming (Kafka, Flink), batch processing (Spark, dbt), columnar storage (Parquet, Delta Lake), and cloud-native query engines
  • Experience writing technical PRDs or design docs that engineering teams consume directly, with measurable improvements in sprint velocity or reduced re-work
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort with data profiling, query plan analysis, and performance debugging as part of feature validation

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior software engineering experience at a data infrastructure, analytics, or AI/ML company
  • Hands-on familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm charts, or Terraform — understanding deployment complexity from an operator's perspective
  • Open-source contributions or published technical writing that demonstrates depth in data engineering or platform architecture
