Job Summary
As a Senior Product Manager, Release Engineering, drive the strategy and execution of Guidewire’s Release Engineering capabilities, ensuring the seamless delivery and adoption of cloud products. Responsibilities include defining product strategy, optimizing paths to production, developing KPIs related to release velocity and quality, and leading cross-functional teams to enhance the agile development lifecycle. Required qualifications include 8+ years of experience in B2B software, proven experience in release engineering and DevOps, strong knowledge of cloud platforms, and excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role
- 8+ years of experience in the commercial enterprise/B2B software market, with at least 5+ years in technical product management
- Proven experience in release engineering, DevOps, and software automation for large, complex applications
- Deep understanding of source code management, compilers, build configuration languages, automated build tools, package managers, and installers
- Experience with sandbox environments, especially in cloud-based platforms
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), services, and APIs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and with senior executives
- Keen judgment in analyzing sophisticated problems, making prioritization decisions, and providing clear direction to product teams
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in the P&C insurance or SaaS industry
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and operational excellence in cloud environments
