Job Summary
Own and drive the Development Track platform product through vision, design, requirements, and delivery, setting OKRs and ensuring successful completion. Create, maintain, and communicate product roadmaps while developing strategic plans to deliver breakthrough capabilities by working with technical and non-technical partners. Define product strategy and vendor evaluation criteria to make ongoing buy-build-partner-acquire decisions, fostering collaborative partnerships across Kroger Technology, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance. Model Agile principles to increase delivery speed by maintaining groomed backlogs and prioritizing features. Provide leadership direction to core team members, leveraging customer feedback and analytics to connect company strengths with available resources. Requires 5+ years of agile product management experience in a digital/eCommerce company with a background in software development advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of agile product management or new product development (NPD) experience in a digital/eCommerce company with demonstrated success delivering new products, platforms, and experiences to markets
- Exceptional communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Experience leading and managing a team with direct and indirect reports
- Demonstrated experience creating and using strategy to solve complex problems that span across multiple divisions and groups within company
- Ability to identify metrics and key performance measures and use data to drive decisions which enhance the customer experience
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years product management experience at a retailer or digital platform company
- Proven track record of conceiving and building platforms
- Experience with OKRs and iterative product development (Agile)
- Experience using GitHub, Atlassian, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud products
- Since this TPM will be working directly with development teams, a background in software development is advantageous
