Job Summary
Technical Product Manager IoT Devices at G+D Mobile Security in Sant Joan Despí, Spain, owning the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of IoT devices while driving cross-product initiatives. Translate market and customer needs into technical specifications, prioritize development tasks with Engineering and Management, and coordinate with Lead Engineer and System Integration Engineer. Manage certifications and testing (e.g., ATEX, EMC), monitor performance and quality metrics, and drive improvements. Serve as a key interface to Sales, Marketing, and Operations for market readiness. Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar, 5+ years in technical product management or IoT/industrial product development, knowledge of electronics, sensors, firmware, and mechanics, plus experience with roadmaps and external partners. German and English fluency is required. Work is hybrid with remote days and in-person collaboration in Sant Joan Despí, Spain.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar
- 5+ years in technical product management, engineering, or IoT/industrial product development
- Strong understanding of electronics, sensors, firmware, and mechanics
- Experience with product roadmaps, requirements management, and development processes
- Knowledge of standards, certifications, and quality management (ATEX, CE, EMC) is a plus
- Proven experience with external development partners and suppliers
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
