Job Summary
Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for world-class data solutions, managing teams to execute and deliver scalable, reliable initiatives vital to business units. Synthesize business needs into well-defined requirements by working with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and finance partners to translate needs into actionable product requirements. Spearhead the integration of advanced technologies such as AI and machine learning while developing end-to-end roadmaps that include risk assessments and change management strategies. Manage and monitor business-critical metrics to ensure data integrity, oversee data governance programs, and maintain high-impact documentation across the product lifecycle. Communicate project statuses and strategies to organizational levels while championing a product-led mindset and unified end product for all data & analytics functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data product management or related roles, with a focus on data products and technology projects
- Proven track record in driving product vision, from roadmap conception to launch, and making significant impacts on customer experience and business metrics
- Previous experience working closely with cross-functional teams, especially development teams comprising software engineers, data scientists, and analysts
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong grasp of data management principles, including data modeling, governance, and compliance, bolstered by hands-on experience in data analysis and actionable insights derivation
- Proficient in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Crisp-DM) and experience working in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with the modern data stack and serverless frameworks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, fivetran, databricks, K8s, Docker, Terraform, etc.)
- Familiarity with system integrations, API frameworks, and databases
- Strong analytical abilities, adept at solving complex problems using data tools and SQL
- Solid understanding of industry best practices, emerging data management technologies, and experience in technical program management
- Excellent communication skills, able to manage multiple stakeholders and handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Python or R
- Experience in machine learning products/services, particularly in areas like advertiser bidding systems, recommendation systems, reinforcement learning, or generative AI
