Job Summary
Technical Product Manager to bridge software engineering and the oil & gas industry, leading end-to-end delivery of advanced software integration and automation solutions for pipeline operations in control room environments. You will serve as the primary conduit between internal engineering teams and external industrial partners, coordinating cross-functional efforts across Deployment, Support, Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering to align customer requirements with the product roadmap. Responsibilities include Agile leadership (stand-ups, sprint planning, story pointing, reviews, retrospectives), multi-project governance, dependency management, process automation and tooling improvements, and ensuring the highest safety and reliability standards in heavy industry contexts. The role emphasizes external coordination with customers, relationship building with client-side leads and plant managers, and aligning cross-functional teams toward a unified delivery approach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Chemical, Electrical, or related field
- 5+ years of combined experience in engineering, product development, or technical program/project management
- Technical acumen: ability to discuss design tradeoffs, system architecture, and debugging with engineers
- Desirable domain knowledge: oil and gas, hydraulic theory, fluid dynamics, advanced control
