Job Summary
Platform Product Manager for Cloud Platform Engineering in the International Consumer Bank. Lead Cloud Platform vision and multi-team roadmaps, aligning with ICB and firmwide objectives; drive discovery with platform users and partners to define capabilities that enhance developer experience, reliability, performance, cost efficiency and compliance. Define and prioritise backlogs with measurable outcomes; ensure scalable architectures, operational excellence, and embed regulatory controls into product design. Manage cross-tribe dependencies, drive vendor engagements, lead incident reviews, and promote automation to reduce toil. Communicate decision-based trade-offs, track platform KPIs, and enable adoption through concise documentation, training, and internal go-to-market strategies. Strong stakeholder management, data-informed decision making, and collaboration with Engineering, Security, Risk, Compliance and Operations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Senior product management experience for cloud or platform products
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture and the software development lifecycle; familiarity with Kubernetes, Go, networking, databases, messaging, infrastructure as code, identity and access management, and observability
- Experience operating at scale in highly available, secure environments; comfortable with incident management and post-incident improvement
- Exposure to financial services regulatory context and platform tech controls
- Software vendor management experience
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive process improvements that enhance developer experience and operational resilience
