Job Summary
Develop and maintain prioritized backlogs across business teams to drive transactional notification feature launches and enhancements. Partner with engineering, product, and analytics teams to clarify technical requirements, translate them into execution plans, and navigate ambiguity to achieve alignment. Identify risks, tradeoffs, and bottlenecks early to formulate mitigation strategies and escalate effectively when needed. Establish operational rigor through sprint planning, stakeholder backlog prioritization, and quarterly operating plans while acting as a trusted thought partner for business objectives. Work closely with leadership and diverse stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of initiatives impacting customer experience and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, or similar role delivering cross-functional technical initiatives
- Ability to engage in architecture discussions, understand system tradeoffs, and influence technical decision-making
- Experience managing complex dependencies across engineering, product, data, and business stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences, including executives
- Highly organized, execution-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and bias toward action
- This role can be based in Seattle, WA or Boston, MA
- Nice to Have Experience in transactional or marketing notification platforms
