Job Summary
Technical Product Manager leading geothermal HVAC platform development for Brightcore EDGE; own product requirements and roadmap, define automated detection logic for system anomalies, and oversee data-quality initiatives; translate domain knowledge in geothermal, HVAC, thermodynamics, and building controls into developer-ready specifications; drive agile delivery, stakeholder alignment, and customer insight to shape future capabilities at the intersection of engineering, IoT, and applied machine intelligence.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Controls Systems, or closely related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, systems engineering, or technical roles with engineering depth and customer-facing product
- Experience with HVAC, heat pump systems, geothermal systems, hydronic systems, or building controls (credibility with facilities engineers and MEP contractors)
- Comfort reasoning through thermodynamic equations and performance metrics (COP, EER, approach temperatures, heat transfer rates)
- Experience with IoT systems, sensor data, building automation and control systems (BAS/BMS)
- Strong working knowledge of timeseries data: structure, failure modes, anomaly detection
- Ability to write precise, developer-ready feature specifications
- Experience running agile delivery for small engineering teams
