Job Summary
Own and drive the product roadmap for Tappz's AI product (mobile & web), defining and prioritizing features based on user research, data, and business goals. Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, intuitive user-facing features while maintaining Linear end-to-end backlog hygiene and workflow structure. Write detailed technical specs and acceptance criteria, then run sprint planning, cycle reviews, and retrospectives with the engineering team to manage the product-to-engineering handoff. Set clear goals and success metrics for every feature and release, communicating product vision and engineering status to stakeholders. Requires 5+ years of product management experience in tech or AI-driven companies, proven track record of shipping mobile and web products at scale, and strong ability to write technical specs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience in a tech or AI-driven company
- Proven track record of shipping mobile and/or web products at scale
- Experience owning and maintaining a project management tool (Linear, Jira, or similar) — not just using it, but structuring and keeping it clean
- Strong ability to write detailed technical specs and acceptance criteria
- Comfortable running engineering ceremonies: sprint planning, cycle reviews, retrospectives
- Technical background or ability to read and understand code at a high level
- Data-driven mindset with hands-on analytics experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership — you treat the product and the process as your own
- Proactive and structured — you bring clarity to chaos
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup where things change quickly
