Job Summary
Own the product roadmap for Tappz's AI product (mobile & web) and translate complex AI capabilities into clear, intuitive user-facing features. Drive product discovery, ideation, and validation with real users; maintain Linear end-to-end — backlog hygiene, workflows, and accurate boards; write detailed technical specs and acceptance criteria before development; run sprint planning, cycle reviews, and retrospectives with the engineering team; manage the product-to-engineering handoff; set clear goals and success metrics for every feature and release; communicate product vision and engineering status to stakeholders and leadership. Requires 5+ years of product management experience in tech/AI, proven experience shipping mobile/web at scale, experience structuring and maintaining project management tools, strong technical-spec-writing, ability to read code at a high level, data-driven analytics, and excellent communication. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience in a tech or AI-driven company
- Proven track record of shipping mobile and/or web products at scale
- Experience owning and maintaining a project management tool (Linear, Jira, or similar)
- Strong ability to write detailed technical specs and acceptance criteria
- Comfortable running engineering ceremonies: sprint planning, cycle reviews, retrospectives
- Experience with AI/LLM-powered products is a strong plus
- Technical background or ability to read and understand code at a high level
- Data-driven mindset with hands-on analytics experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
