Job Summary
Lead technical and outbound product management for hyperscale and AI infrastructure solutions using flash storage technologies. Engage directly with customer stakeholders to gather insights, drive product prioritization and roadmaps, and define hardware and software requirements including design, firmware, and telemetry. Develop high-quality content, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and create hands-on prototypes and proof-of-concepts for customer solutions. Collaborate with engineering teams to execute performance testing and optimization, while acting as a technical expert at industry conferences and seminars. Mentor junior team members and maintain strategic direction while navigating uncertain conditions. This in-office role at Pure's Santa Clara campus requires 8+ years of experience in solution architecture and product management, with a deep understanding of flash memory and data center architectures. Base salary ranges from $239,000 to $359,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent industry experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in solution architecture, product management, engineering, or technical pre-sales, specifically within the field of data storage or related technologies
- Deep understanding of flash memory technologies, compute and storage hardware and software, networking, and data center architectures and standards
- Strong systems-thinking acumen and proven ability to quickly drive successful root cause analysis of technical issues across hardware and software domains
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive initiatives and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to addressing technical requirements
- Experience working with engineers, architects and leadership at large customers
- High proficiency with Linux system administration, scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar, and AI-driven development workflows
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
- Must be able to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure's policies
