Job Summary
Technical Product Developer for Swimwear/Nightwear (Maternity Cover) in two 7-month temporary roles within the Bodywear & Hosiery Business Unit. Responsibilities include assisting in technical development from sketching to production approval; optimizing workmanship and construction techniques; creating measurement charts and size gradings; collaborating with vendors on components and trimmings; participating in sketch reviews and pricing meetings to ensure value engineering, quality, and fit in line with sustainability standards; monitoring the seasonal development calendar. Requires initial product development experience, knowledge of garment construction, proficiency in MS Office and Illustrator (CLO 3D a plus), fluent English, and strong analytical, negotiation, sourcing, and R&D skills. Required Qualifications
- Initial experience in product development, ideally with a background in design or pattern making
- Solid technical understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes
- Confident user of MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator); CLO 3D is a plus
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Abilities in negotiation, sourcing and R&D
