Job Summary
Lead technical discovery sessions with partners and customers to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and current environments. Recommend and position IBM software solutions aligned with customer needs, delivering engaging product demonstrations, workshops, webinars, and technical briefings for both technical and business audiences. Scope and support proof-of-concept and proof-of-value activities, defining success criteria and coordinating resources. Contribute technical expertise to proposals, presentations, RFI/RFP responses, statements of work, and partner quotations. Validate solution fit by assessing integrations, dependencies, sizing requirements, deployment considerations, assumptions, and risks. Enable partner success through technical training, knowledge transfer sessions, and reusable demonstrations while collaborating with Business Development Managers, Solution Architects, and regional sales teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IBM software technologies, competing solutions, cloud platforms, and emerging industry trends. Fluent Swedish and English required; hybrid work model applies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in technical pre-sales, systems engineering, consulting, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions
- Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical specialists and business stakeholders
- Confidence delivering workshops, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured approach to gathering requirements and evaluating solution fit
- Proven ability to collaborate across sales, architecture, vendors, partners, and delivery teams in international environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with IBM software technologies
- Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments, APIs, integrations, data platforms, identity management, security, and automation concepts
- Additional European languages
