Job Summary
Coordinate responses to technical security risk decisions for Foreign Service posts and provide guidance on countermeasures policies. Master the DS Risk Management Framework and OSPB standards to evaluate technology impacts on security practices, then lead research efforts to update policies and recommend appropriate countermeasures. Participate in working groups to develop mitigation strategies, advise senior managers on technology impacts, and manage data throughout its lifecycle for risk analysis. Requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $105,000.
Required Qualifications
- Current U.S. Government final Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance/access approvals
- Ability to understand and explain Intelligence Community standards, Overseas Security Policy Board (OSPB) technical and physical security standards, and agency regulations
- Ability to interact with groups and individuals outside own organization and/or agency
- Ability to participate in interagency working groups
- Strong written, electronic, and verbal communication skills, including technical and report writing
- Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of a team
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task efficiently, and work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects
- Demonstrated experience working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition
