Job Summary
Operates, sets up, and maintains advanced packaging and blending equipment to meet product and customer requirements in Ellsworth’s KitPackers ResinLab division (Germantown, WI). Measures, mixes, and dispenses adhesive products following safety, quality, and procedural guidelines; performs material checks, in-process and post-packaging evaluations, and clean checks; troubleshoots product and equipment issues and implements formula or process adjustments. Develops and updates Work Instructions and Bills of Material, mentors other packaging team members on technical procedures and quality expectations, and serves as a technical resource for packaging challenges. Engages in continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, One-Piece Flow, SMED, 5S) and collaborates with Quality Assurance and Engineering on new product introductions and first-article builds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of production experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions
- Knowledge of Basic Math
- Ability to operate and maintain packaging and blending equipment
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Follows and understands operating and quality processes
- Ability to follow and develop Bills of Material and Work Instructions
- Able to operate under minimal supervision
- Able to coach and train staff on technical aspects
- Collaborates with Leads on troubleshooting complex equipment or material issues
- Ability to navigate potential technical production issues and follow through with resolutions
- Ability to follow safety standards and protocols
