Job Summary
Efficiently run, monitor, and precisely adjust high-tech machinery to hit quality and production targets while executing weekly and monthly preventive maintenance and cleaning tasks. Rapidly diagnose and solve first- and second-line technical issues using Root Cause Analysis, collaborating closely with the shift team, Supervisor, and Maintenance department to manage daily tasks around scheduled maintenance and unexpected breakdowns. Train and instruct new operators and colleagues on machine operation and adjustments, maintaining a Safety First mindset by resolving or reporting hazards and championing continuous improvement processes.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of proven experience as an [technical oriented] Operator or Technician in a fast-paced, modern production environment
- Strong mechanical and technical skills to quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve machine issues
- A completed technical or graphical education equivalent to Dutch MBO Level 3 or MBO Level 4
- A proactive, hands-on mentality with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and keep a strong focus on workplace safety
Desired Qualifications
- Specific certifications such as NEN3140, VOP, or machine-specific technical training
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Autonomous Maintenance)
- Prior experience in printing technology
- Good basic English skills for reading technical manuals and general communication
