Job Summary
Technical Operations Manager, OSP Engineering for GFiber, oversees engineering practices for GFiber’s FTTH network; manages design and permitting for SFUs, MDUs, and SBUs; coordinates with the OSP network team on project activities and financial reporting; manages production with vendors to ensure adherence to guidelines and standards; collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute network designs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in managing scalable, outside plant projects, FTTH or outside plant engineering projects
- Experience with inside and outside plant fiber optic network infrastructure, engineering design and construction
- Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and/or ESRI platforms, including experience with CAD or shapefile operations
