Job Summary
Technical Operations Engineer to support Anduril Space Systems hardware in field and customer environments, handling end-to-end hardware setup, pre-configuration, and seamless integration with customer infrastructure. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware in real-time, configuring networking (Cisco switches/routers, VLANs, routing), installing and racking servers and related equipment, running Ethernet and fiber cabling, testing and certifying cabling, coordinating electrical power systems (UPS, PDUs, grounding) with electricians, ensuring compliance with local/state/federal building and electrical codes, interpreting blueprints/schematics/construction docs, conducting site surveys, coordinating subcontractors, delivering as-built drawings and project reports, and maintaining OSHA safety and industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC). The role requires hands-on hardware work in the field, strong communication with stakeholders, and travel up to 75%; a degree in engineering or computer science (or equivalent) is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical systems, both low-voltage and high-voltage
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with customers and team members
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
- Proficient in working with hands and tools to assemble, repair, and maintain technical hardware in the field
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from start to finish
- Proven experience in server installation, cable routing (fiber and Ethernet), and electrical coordination
- Hands-on experience with rack installation, patch panels, and cable management systems
- Excellent communication skills for working with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- Certifications (preferred but not required): BICSI, CompTIA Server+, OSHA 30, low-voltage contractor license
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance
- Ability to meet health and medical requirements in advance of deployments in accordance with DFARS 252.225-7040, DoDI 3020.41, and/or any additional requirements outlined by region or supporting force, as applicable
