Job Summary
Technical Operations Engineer II at Johnson & Johnson leveraging process engineering expertise to manage medium-complexity projects within GMP/ISO frameworks. Responsible for project management, root-cause analysis, validation procedures, optimization of process output, equipment utilization, and adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with Ethicon San Lorenzo and suppliers, drives CAPA actions from origination to closure, supports safety and quality initiatives, and contributes to cost and yield improvements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3–5 years of relevant experience in medical devices/pharma, ability to work across multiple shifts including holidays/weekends, travel as needed, and bilingual English/Spanish; proficient in MS Office and capable of communicating with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 3 to 5 years of experience in process improvement or maintenance engineering in medical devices or pharmaceutical industry (preferred)
- Related experience is required
- Bilingual (Spanish & English)
- Advanced computer skills and MS Office
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information to groups
- Flexibility to work multiple shifts including holidays and weekends
- Willingness to travel as required
