Technical Operations Engineer

Job Summary
Troubleshoot applications, services, and infrastructure issues reported by end-users, verifying and documenting bugs for accurate tracking and escalation. Manage incidents through stakeholder communication and coordinate with development teams to establish support workflows and monitoring plans. Collaborate with software engineers to enhance processes, conduct code reviews, and partner with vendors to resolve service events. Work on a collaborative rotation covering support across different time zones and perform out-of-hours on-call duties for high-severity incidents. This role requires Level 2 support experience, Python proficiency, and English fluency, with a rotating shift schedule based in the Mexico City hybrid office.
Required Qualifications
- Experience providing Level 2 (L2) support in a tech-driven business environment
- Proficient problem-solving skills and strong technical troubleshooting abilities
- Software development experience, particularly with Python
- A strong desire to identify and resolve root causes, systematically preventing issues from recurring by collaborating with code owners
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to uphold Ebury's values
- English proficiency
