Job Summary
Direct live and pre-recorded productions as assigned while monitoring on-air streams, transmitter signals, and FCC logs. Ingest daily programming and commercials, manage playlist automation, and operate robotic cameras, prompters, and audio equipment using Ross Overdrive and VizRT. Collaborate with all departments to meet daily demands, train new personnel, and assist the Operations Manager in maintaining clean studio and production areas. Variable work schedule due to changing shifts and station projects. - Skilled use of Ross Overdrive automation
- Production video switcher
- Master control automation
- VizRT graphics
- Adobe Photoshop
- Robotic camera operation
- Prompter operation
- Audio operation
- Commercial/promo ingesting
- Program ingesting/segmenting
- Understanding of FCC program and transmitter logs
- Understanding of all FCC broadcast regulations
- Understanding of all equipment in studios and production areas
- Dedication to care of equipment
- Variable work schedule due to changing shifts, turnover, station projects, etc.
