TECHNICAL MEDIA PRODUCER (P/T) - WLUC

Technical Media Producer responsibilities include directing live or pre-recorded newscasts, operating master control automation and video switching systems, monitoring on-air signals, ingesting programming and commercials, and ensuring FCC compliance. The role requires operating Ross OverDrive, MCR automation, robotic cameras, teleprompters, audio, and Edius editing, with the ability to adapt to breaking news and maintain a clean studio. The position is part-time with variable hours (including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends) and offers training for the right candidate. A college degree is preferred but not required; prior Master Control Operator/Technical Director experience is helpful but not mandatory. Strong communication, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure are valued.
