Job Summary
Looking for a tech-minded individual to direct live or pre-recorded productions as a Technical Media Producer. Responsibilities include monitoring on-air signals, ingesting daily programming, performing desktop video editing, and directing newscasts. Candidates will learn to operate production equipment such as Ross Overdrive automation, video switchers, and graphics systems. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage various production tasks, demonstrate equipment care, and adapt to a variable work schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work shifts of at least 8 hours, and occasionally longer, 5 days per week, sitting or standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to carry moderately heavy equipment, up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use a computer for tasks such as communicating via email, preparing reports, executing automation, and editing video.
- Potential exposure to high noise and unusual light levels.
