Job Summary
Lead technical and product development activities across the business, including product transfers, new packaging development, and formulation of new products. Manage a team of three direct reports by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Coordinate product transfers between manufacturing sites and external partners while driving innovation in new product development and formulation optimization. Ensure all products comply with regulatory and quality requirements through risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions. Maintain accurate technical documentation and specifications while managing multiple technical projects to meet commercial and customer demands.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Significant experience in product development, formulation, and technical project management.
- Experience leading product transfer and scale-up activities.
- Proven people management experience.
- Experience managing packaging development projects.
- Strong understanding of quality and regulatory requirements.
Desired Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, APMP or equivalent).
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical, healthcare, chemical, or related industries
