Job Summary
Lead technical delivery across the region by overseeing the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning and handover. Provide technical escalation support for complex issues, produce and review technical drawings and system designs using CAD and specialized software, and manage DNO applications and grid connections. Conduct technical audits, compliance checks, and site reviews to ensure adherence to building regulations, industry standards, and health & safety requirements. Drive continuous improvement by reviewing installation standards, mentoring engineers, and supporting pre-construction and bid teams with technical input. Liaise with operations, manufacturers, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are commercially viable and delivered to a high standard.
Required Qualifications
- Background within electrical, renewables or M&E environments
- Experience in a senior technical or leadership role
- Strong understanding of Solar PV, battery storage or related technologies
- Experience with system design, specifications and DNO processes
- Comfortable working across office, site and client-facing environments
- Experience with CAD and design software platforms
- Commercial awareness with the ability to support project viability and delivery
