Job Summary
Provide oversight and guidance to a team of technical professionals supporting Network infrastructure operations for a National law enforcement agency NOC. Translate business requirements into telecommunications specifications, manage network performance and end-to-end service quality, and lead assessments for network modernization tools. Monitor and respond to hardware, software, and network problems while performing routine testing, troubleshooting, and security patching across LAN, MAN, WAN, Voice, and Video systems. Conduct in-depth operational analysis to maintain predefined Key Performance Indicators and establish SOPs. Schedule is day shift Monday through Friday with 100% onsite location in Springfield or Ashburn, Virginia. Background investigation required; U.S. citizenship mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- At least Ten (10) Plus years of experience in equivalent technical field
- A minimum of Ten (10) years' experience in network operations
- Routing and switching/Firewall (FW)/load balancing SME with Six (6) Plus years
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments
- This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations
- Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape
- Bachelor's Degree in related technical field
- Background Investigation is required
- U.S. Citizen
- Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday
- 100% Onsite
- Less than 10% travel
- Regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds

- Up to 50 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable
- CCNP Routing and Switching Level III, CCDP, or CCIE
- Clearance
