Job Summary
Technical Manager in the Dams Group, leading structural design efforts for dams, waterfront improvements, and heavy civil projects. Responsibilities include supervising the structural design staff, performing evaluation and analysis, development of design concepts and criteria, preparation of detailed design calculations and construction plans, QA/QC and value engineering reviews, conducting site inspections and reporting, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Requires BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, Professional Engineer licensure, and 15+ years of experience with reinforced concrete and steel frame structures, bulkheads, cofferdams, shoring, and related hydraulic/structural systems. Proficiency with STAAD PRO, GT STRUDL, MathCAD, Enercalc; familiarity with dam safety guidelines and related federal/state codes. Strong written and verbal communication and ability to deliver on-time, on-budget high-quality designs.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- 15+ years of experience in structural design for heavy civil projects including dams, waterfronts, bulkheads, cofferdams, shoring; proficiency with STAAD PRO, GT STRUDL, MathCAD, Enercalc
