Job Summary
Oversee the hotel's technical infrastructure and operations, including building systems, safety and event-technology, leading a three-person team, and managing maintenance, budgeting, and coordination with external service providers to ensure continuous equipment function and a safe guest environment. Demonstrates hands-on technical leadership in HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and sanitary systems, balancing ongoing operations with project work while supporting sustainability and ESG goals. Strong focus on guest interaction, IT proficiency (MS Office), and proactive problem solving to minimize outages and optimize service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- completed technical training in building services engineering or related field
- several years of professional experience
- experience from hotel industry or comparable service-oriented environment (preferred)
- sound knowledge in HVAC, electrical systems, fire protection, and sanitary technology
- good communication and guest-facing skills
- IT literacy with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
