Job Summary
Technical Manager leading ambient product category management and supplier performance to uphold Waitrose quality, safety, legality, and integrity standards. Collaborates across Quality, Technical, Regulatory, Policy & Compliance, Product Innovation, CPG Trading, Marketing, Customer Services and Ethics & Sustainability to deliver the Own Brand Product Plan and manage projects with technical elements. Requires a degree in food science (or equivalent) with HACCP and Food Safety Level 3, 5+ years of technical experience in food/non-food, and expertise in supplier development, allergens, microbiology, specification management and legal requirements for product labelling.

- 5+ years recent Technical experience in food/non-food industry
