Technical Manager – Faith and Community Initiative (FCI)

Job Summary
Provide in-country technical direction for FCI's integrated service-delivery model in Sierra Leone, ensuring the country program aligns with global technical strategy, national policies, and donor requirements. Oversee technical implementation and quality across government facilities, Christian Health Associations, and faith-based organizations delivering HIV, TB, malaria, maternal and child health, and nutrition services. Manage technical relationships with the Ministry of Health, District Health Management Teams, and sub-national authorities while representing FCI in national and sub-national technical forums. Monitor program quality against targets, drive continuous improvement, and build technical capacity through mentorship and training. Contribute to country work plans, budgets, and proposals, and feed lessons learned back to the Global Technical Director to support cross-country learning. Requires a Master's degree in public health or medicine, minimum 8 years of technical experience in integrated health programming in Sierra Leone, and proficiency in English with frequent in-country travel up to 50% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in public health, medicine, epidemiology, or a related clinical/technical field
- Minimum 8 years' technical experience in integrated health programming (HIV, TB, malaria, MCH, and/or nutrition) in Sierra Leone or similar context
- Experience implementing donor-funded programs
- Experience working with the Ministry of Health at national and sub-national levels
- Experience adapting technical guidelines and evidence-based models to the local context
- Experience representing programs in national Technical Working Groups
- Familiarity with the national public health sector
- Familiarity with DHMT structures
- Familiarity with faith-based/Christian Health Association networks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Advanced English Language Proficiency (ability to speak, understand and write fluently in English)

- Consent to provide information regarding sexual exploitation, sexual abuse and/or sexual harassment during employment or under investigation at the time of separation
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical qualification (MD/nursing)
- Proficiency in the national/local language(s)

- Experience with other faith-based organizations (FBOs) health facilities
