Technical Manager - Data Transmission

Assist senior management in determining staffing requirements and interview, select, and train staff for the Data Transmissions Systems Product Team. Manage reporting staff according to company policy or applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement while establishing group goals and objectives. Plan, assign, and delegate work duties, allocate resources, and handle employee complaints, grievances, and discipline when necessary. Evaluate current business processes and systems to plan and implement procedures that maximize operating efficiency. Utilize ISite and comparable budget/financial applications to track work package workflows for materials and budgets. Monitor work orders to ensure systems remain up-to-date and accurate. Formulate department/unit policies and practices to drive the achievement of contract, department, and division productivity and quality goals. Identify issues and collaborate with other functional groups to develop creative plans for project delivery. This role requires willingness to work off-shift hours as needed to execute management responsibilities.
