Job Summary
The Technical Manager for Cyber Risk Management (CRM) is responsible for overseeing the applied research and technical agenda aimed at addressing the US Department of War's strategic challenges. Key responsibilities include developing and communicating the technical vision, managing project plans and finances, and generating new work. The role demands strong leadership skills, experience with US Federal Government projects, exceptional communication abilities, and expertise in risk management concepts. Candidates should have a BS in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years in enterprise risk management or similar roles.
Required Qualifications
- BS in risk management, cybersecurity, information systems, economics, mathematics or a related technical field; advanced degree strongly preferred
- Total of ten (10) years of experience as an enterprise risk executive, enterprise risk manager, primary investigator engaged in risk management research or similarly technical occupation
- Experience and expert knowledge of risk quantification tools and techniques, risk management frameworks/model/standards of practice, risk governance
- Experience with substantial knowledge of network architectures, telecommunications, cybersecurity, operational resilience, information security models, foundational artificial intelligence concepts, project planning and financial management, USG and DoW risk tools, techniques, and methods
Desired Qualifications
- RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional (preferred)
- Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (preferred)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (preferred)
- Certified Information Security Manager (preferred)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (preferred)
