Technical Manager (Creative Hub), Academy of Music

Oversee the Hub's master asset inventory, preventative maintenance schedules, and asset tracking systems for all state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Act as the direct supervisor and Team Lead for the multi-disciplinary technical staff, driving daily task assignments, workflows, and performance standards while establishing and enforcing strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for venue usage. Assist the Executive Director in aligning technical capabilities with long-term academic curricula and institutional goals by managing operational budgets, evaluating equipment proposals, and handling technical vetting for high-value purchases and upgrades. Command operational readiness and end-to-end setups across all flagship spaces, ensuring flawless coordination between audio, filming/video, and physical staging pipelines. This fixed-term role (up to 2 years) supports the School of Creative Arts' mission to nurture future-ready talents through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies at Hong Kong Baptist University.
