Job Summary
Lead civil design and drafting activities using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and InRoads/OpenRoads to produce 2D drawings and 3D models for infrastructure projects. Translate inputs into accurate models, perform takeoffs and quantity calculations, develop underground services and utility plans, and review sketches and specifications to ensure conformance with design concepts. Requires 15–20 years of civil engineering design/drafting experience, proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD/MicroStation/OpenRoads, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work options; relocation assistance available; potential for remote work opportunities outside the country. Required Qualifications
- College certification or BS in Civil Engineering (preferred but not required)
- 15 to 20 years of design and drafting experience in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Microstation, InRoads/OpenRoads
- Experience in 2D and 3D designs for site grading, earthworks, drainage systems, underground services, utilities, roadways, and other infrastructure systems
- Mining industrial plant and facility experience preferred
- Hydrology experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
