Job Summary
Lead the site’s Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with food safety legislation, regulatory requirements and accreditations. Drive the development and execution of high-quality food safety standards; coach and develop the technical team; and manage internal and external audits. Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Marketing, Sales and external partners to protect product integrity, consumer safety and brand reputation, while embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the manufacturing site.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Food Science or a food-related discipline
- Lead Auditor certification
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP
- Experience interpreting and applying food legislation and customer codes of practice
- Proficient IT skills; MS Office
