Job Summary
Technical Lead to provide high-level design and technical leadership aligned to business requirements. Translate business requirements into effective IT solution concepts and designs, contribute to solution architecture and end-to-end implementation planning, and support production issues through data analysis and root-cause investigation. Provide third-line application support, including vendor platforms (e.g. NetReveal, Quantexa, Fenergo). Requires strong data analysis, SQL with Hadoop/Spark, systems/data integration experience in enterprise banking/financial services, and multi-platform deployment experience. Desirable exposure to financial crime domains (AML/CTF/Sanctions). Office-based in Sydney with three days per week on-site, plus collaboration with internal stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Strong data analysis, solution design and data integration experience on medium to large-scale enterprise projects
- Advanced data analysis skills using SQL
- Working knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem and Spark
- Experience with systems and data integration, ideally within technology or banking/financial services sector
- Development and deployment experience across multiple platforms and delivery methodologies
- Desirable knowledge of financial crime systems (NetReveal, Quantexa, Fenergo) or exposure to AML/CTF/Sanctions domains
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and consultative skills, with excellent written and verbal communication
