Job Summary
Lead software development activities across design, implementation, and testing for scalable features within Rockwell's Manufacturing Execution System. Drive architectural decisions, estimate workloads, and execute sprint planning by breaking user stories into estimable tasks. Conduct rigorous reviews of code, designs, and test cases while developing, documenting, and debugging software to ensure quality. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams using SAFe practices to integrate subsystems and deliver final products. Support the recruitment process and maintain open communication with the Manager and Scrum Master.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in new product development and design of software or software systems including significant background with large scale enterprise system development projects
- 5 Years of experience in review process (design review, code review)
- 3 Years of experience as a Technical Leader
- hybrid schedule working in Hinjewadi, Pune, India
- work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on expert with data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented designs in Java
- In depth understanding of various design patterns for enterprise applications
- Experience with different UX technologies
- Experience with manufacturing domain, especially with consumer product goods industry
- Good understanding of modern software delivery practices like rapid prototyping, CI/CD, containerization, virtualization etc. and various test strategies like TDD / BDD
- Experience with security, data communication, and contemporary user interface technologies in enterprise environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, that enables collaboration with global teams
- Experience of working in SAFe methodology
