Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain backend services using .NET, WCF, and RESTful web services while supporting an existing architecture with ongoing modernization. Troubleshoot, fix, and deploy production issues involving data access layers, LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL Server. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to .NET team members, collaborating with product stakeholders to guide decisions on scalability, stability, and performance. Leverage Azure services and integrate third-party systems within a small, cross-functional team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of .NET development experience
- technical leadership or mentorship responsibilities
- Strong experience with .NET Framework (3.5, 4.0, 4.5)
- Strong experience with WCF, REST APIs, Windows Services
- Strong experience with LINQ, Entity Framework, SQL Server
- Experience integrating third-party systems
- Experience working on large or business-critical operational platforms
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, or similar SDLC tools
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in smaller teams or scaling products in a growth environment
- Exposure to Angular or modern front-end frameworks
