Job Summary
Technical Lead to own the architecture and execution of Monaco's Data Ingestion pipeline. This hands-on role drives data infrastructure, analytics, and insights powering customer and internal decisions, setting technical standards for data tooling, modeling, and documentation. Partner closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams as well as external vendors to turn data into leverage, and lead end-to-end data ingestion initiatives from scoping to delivery. Requires strong SQL and data modeling skills (dbt), experience with modern data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.), Python for analysis and automation, and a clear technical communicator who can align stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a tech lead or equivalent
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills; comfortable owning a dbt project end to end
- Experience with modern data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)
- Python proficiency for analysis and automation
- Clear technical communicator who can align stakeholders and cut through ambiguity in a fast paced environment
