Job Summary
Technical Lead L1 responsible for driving data engineering initiatives using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory, with strong focus on data lake architectures and SQL-based analytics. The role emphasizes designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data engineering solutions, leveraging Microsoft Azure data services (ADLS, Databricks, Data Factory, EventHub), and working with diverse data platforms (Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure Data Explorer). Requires 4-7 years of hands-on data engineering experience plus 5+ years in software development, Agile/DevOps practices, and cloud data-lake work. Collaboration in an Agile environment and contribution to end-to-end data solutions are key, along with certification consideration (Databricks) and a Bachelor's degree as a baseline. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software development (Agile, DevOps), designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions.
- 5+ years of data analytics experience using SQL and working with data platforms like Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, ADLS, and Azure Data Explorer.
- 5+ years of cloud development and data lake experience, primarily in Microsoft Azure (EventHub, Data Factory, Databricks, Blob Storage, Power BI, Azure Functions, etc.)
- Mandatory Skills: Azure Data Factory
