Job Summary
Design, build, and review production code while owning technical decisions for Azure cloud infrastructure and unit projects. Provide hands-on mentorship through pair programming, code reviews, and design sessions, then oversee delivery timelines and quality alongside managing team performance and growth. Coordinate with stakeholders on technical scope and feasibility while monitoring business unit performance for senior leadership reports. Requires 5+ years of hands-on Java/Spring Boot development with fluency in Greek and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, including recent, active coding
- Strong experience with Java/Spring Boot on the backend and at least one of Angular, React, or Vue on the frontend
- Experience leading or mentoring developers technically - tech lead, staff engineer, or similar track record
- Comfort owning architecture decisions and being the final technical authority for a unit's projects
- Fluency in Greek and English, written and verbal
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Azure cloud services (AKS, App Services, Azure DevOps, etc.) in production environments
- Experience managing or leading multiple teams simultaneously
- Background in systems integration, digital transformation, or enterprise software projects
- Domain experience in public sector, banking, telecoms, or energy
